Our Mission

The BG Initiative is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting youth and families through mentorship, education, and prevention-focused programming. Based in Petersburg, Virginia, our work centers on helping young people develop confidence, accountability, and positive decision-making skills.

We believe that when young people are supported with guidance, education, and positive role models, communities become safer and stronger. Prevention, accountability, and access to resources are essential to long-term success for youth and families.
